What's more important in a good marriage: being able to make each other laugh or being able to write a good cookbook?
Gussie Richardson - a famous food columnist and cookbook author - gets the chance to star on TV. She wants to do it, but her husband Walter is dead set against it and then Gussie discovers she has stage fright and can't open her mouth in front of a camera.
Can there be such a thing as too much fame? Gus doesn't think so. She just wants to be loved - and loved, and loved!
