The Pulse road show provided the entertainment with presenter Marc Henry comparing the event and The Inspiration Choir wowed the crowds with their singing, supported by pupils from Nessfield School.
The Arbeau Dancers also took part and Colin Appleyards provided Goldwing motorcycles to escort Santa on his sleigh around the town before the switch on.
