A heritage railway museum has been awarded an accolade for its quality.
It houses a collection of locomotives and railway items and also runs workshops operated by the Bahamas Locomotive Society.
An open day will be held on Sunday February 28, between 1 - 3.30pm, when people will be able to see restoration work progressing on a coal tank engine built in 1884. Also in steam will be the recently renovated loco 'Nunlow'.
