Keighley Blues Club - a list of gigs up to the end of the current season. The new season starts in September 2010.
26th March – BIG KBC ‘YOUNG GUNS’ DOUBLE HEADER!
Dani Wilde Band plus Will ‘Harmonica’ Wilde & The Neptune Blues Band. All Tickets £10
23 year old Dani and her band return from Brighton by popular demand following their unforgettable debut visit last season. This time round brother Will, the frighteningly talented harmonica player, will be bringing along his band too.
23rd April – Family Style. Members £10. Non-Members £12
From Italy, a real family band playing Chicago blues, shuffles and swing.
Special guest: Simon Currie. Atmospheric Scottish guitar player.
21st May – Top Topham/John Idan Band Members £10. Non-Members £12
Original guitarist with Yardbirds (Topham) combines with latter day ex-member of said band (Idan) to create a superb evocation of '60s blues boom.
Special guest: Keith Christmas. Folky/blues from a man whose acoustic guitar playing can be heard on Bowie's 'Space Oddity' album
11th June – Cuillin Blue All Tickets £10
Gutsy R&B delivered right between your eyes!
Special guest: Gerry Cooper. Acoustic solo blues from this acclaimed local performer.
16th July – The Elevators. All Tickets £10
From Brighton, probably KBC regulars’ favourite band. Bringing their “electric blues for connoisseurs” to the Club for a fourth time.
Special guest: 3 Speed. Top local blues band.
