Businesses in Keighley Support Red Nose Day

Many thanks to the businesses around Keighley who generously supported Red Nose Day!!

We raised a total of £121.00!!

Whopee cushion dares involved visiting local businesses and Council staff

conducting a 'Resource Efficiency Drive Survey' involving replacing all office chairs with small, foldaway plastic chairs. 

After discussions on whether the new chairs were ecofriendly, ergonomically designed and practical, staff were offered a chance to sit on the chair - the whoopee cushion was put in place and roars of laughter followed as the scam was revealed!! We then collected money from the audience!

Many thanks to all who took part!!!

The Lord Rodney, The Boltmakers, A4E, Library, Keighley Cartridges, Skipton Building Society, Barries Shoe Repairs, The Flower Shop and the Town Hall.
