Work Starts on Woodlands at Sue Ryder
Wednesday, February 17, 2010
Manorlands, the Oxenhope Sue Ryder Care Home, has started work on making the 15 acre site more accessible to visitors and patients.
Much of the area is woodland and will become an area of tranquillity and beauty which can be enjoyed by all. The pond has recently been renovated and fitted with a fountain and is now more ecologically valuable.
Much of the lighter planting and landscaping will be carried out by Haworth gardener Steve Thorpe, helped by members of the two voluntary groups he co-ordinates
Anyone interested in helping with the work can contact Steve Thorpe on 01535 647496 or 07969 658743
